Legal Intern
We provide an opportunity for the fourth or final year B.A.LL.B./BBM.LLB students to work as legal interns with our team for the duration of one to three months. For legal interns, we provide basic training of legal research, analysis and writing memos, case law summaries, etc. in the area of commercial law. Legal Intern position with our Firm is an unpaid position, however, we provide a nominal stipend to cover the cost of transportation and incidental expenses.
At Pradhan & Associates, fresh graduates begin their career with our Firm as Trainee Associates. It has been our tradition that we first provide required professional training to fresh graduates prior to commencing with entry level lawyer position of "Associate" with our Firm. Fresh graduates are first hired as Trainee Associates. In this position, Trainee Associates will be provided training to develop basic skills to analyze and interpret laws and make practical application thereof as well as to draft various types of legal documents and legal opinions.
The time period for the ‘traineeship' is typically one year. Each Trainee Associate will be evaluated based on his/her performance during the 'traineeship' for further promotion to a full-time 'Associate' position subject to enrollment as an Advocate with Nepal Bar Council.
Upon successful completion of the ‘traineeship’ at our Firm, each Trainee Associate will be offered a full-time Associate position subject to enrollment as an Advocate with Nepal Bar Council.
Though we offer Associate position primarily to those candidates who have completed ‘traineeship’ with our Firm, we encourage those interested candidates outside of our Firm, who have excellent knowledge and experience in commercial law, to apply in the position of Associate in the manner stated above.
