We provide an opportunity for the fourth or final year B.A.LL.B./BBM.LLB students to work as legal interns with our team for the duration of one to three months. For legal interns, we provide basic training of legal research, analysis and writing memos, case law summaries, etc. in the area of commercial law. Legal Intern position with our Firm is an unpaid position, however, we provide a nominal stipend to cover the cost of transportation and incidental expenses.
Fresh graduates begin their career with our Firm as Trainee Associates. It has been our tradition that we first provide required professional training to fresh graduates prior to commencing with the position of “Associate”. In this position, Trainee Associates will be provided training to develop basic skills to analyze and interpret laws and make practical application thereof as well as to draft various types of legal documents and legal opinions. The time period for the ‘traineeship’ is typically one to two years.
Interested candidates for the position of Trainee Associate are encouraged to apply in the manner stated above.
Those Trainee Associates who successfully complete ‘traineeship’ with our Firm will be offered Associate position.
Though we offer Associate position primarily to those candidates who have completed ‘traineeship’ with our Firm, we encourage other interested candidates outside of our Firm, who have excellent knowledge and experience in commercial law, to apply to the position of Associate in the manner stated above.
