Directives Relating to Licensing of Power Projects 2075 (2018)

The Ministry of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation by virtue of the power conferred by Rule 94A of the Electricity Regulation 2050 (1993) issued the Directives Relating to Licensing of Power Projects 2075 ("Directive") on Kartik 7, 2075 (October 24, 2018). The Directive has repealed Directives Relating to Licensing of Power Projects 2073 (2017) which was in force previously. The Directive has made various changes relating to the criteria to be fulfilled by the project company in obtaining survey and/or generation licenses.
